PROJECT BACKGROUND

A Teacher’s Promise is a fundraising campaign designed to celebrate teachers’ work in communities served by Pencils of Promise (PoP)—a non-profit organization that provides quality education to students around the world. Goals of the campaign were to raise brand awareness, generate excitement for the mission  and fundraise to support the educational programs. As the Lead Designer, I created the visual identity of the campaign. First, I selected fonts that replicated chalk on a blackboard. Then, I curated images of teachers. Throughout the color palette, I wanted to express a vibrant look and feel to mirror the energy of PoP’s teacher cohort. Promotional materials included: website homepage, newsletters, infographics, a customized fundraising page, social media assets, and banner ads. A Teacher’s Promise was a very successful campaign that reached 164% of the fundraising goal.
